Clovis

Penn loves to play ball & is housebroken. He is way too smart he knows how to open the latch on a gate. He is about 4 and is ready to come out of the shelter. You can see he just got a BATH!

Einstein

This curly boy Einstein was rescued from the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley. He is approximately seven years old. His temperament is very laid back and sweet. He loves to cuddle and lean against you. He is good with dogs, cats and children. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He is not a Barker.

Einstein is such an easy dog. Thank heaven. When I brought him home from the shelter, I thought that I must have a screw loose to take on another one! Einstein is so good with the other dogs. I tested him with the cat also–barely even looked at her.

He is a gentleman and has a wonderful disposition.

He has a GREAT new home and a summer hair cut!

LOGAN’S RUN

My run started in Midland Texas where I was found in the dump as a very skinny stray. From there I went to the city pound. Thanks to some very great people I started my journey via El Paso, TX to Albuquerque, NM. My arrival was a wondrous adventure for me because of the Golden Retriever Rescue of NM (GRRNM). I was introduced to a great foster family that acquainted me with three other Golden’s and some very loving people. My first month in Albuquerque, NM was fantastic. I had all the amenities, wonderful FOOD, loving people and great dog buddies. Did I mention the FOOD. I was now on my new path to my new family. I chose a great family with two children and a big backyard. The bonus in my new backyard is there are some neighborhood cats I get to chase. Silly cats don’t they know there is a new sheriff in town, and his name is LOGAN. I have included some pictures of me and my family and extend a huge THANK YOU to all the people connected with GRRNM that helped on my RUN.

Sally

Honey is being brought to us from Magdalena. She is a darling little cross. First assessment says she was obedient to simple commands, and did not exhibit any aggressiveness, she did not seem to be a barker and she seemed to want to play. As you can see she is a cute dog, she is approximately 20 to 24 inches in height, about 40 to 50 pounds. She has been to the groomer, is all spiffed up, been to the vet and set to go. She is a real charmer!

Maggie and Duke

Maggie (female) is seven years old. She is very smart and quiet. She
likes to just sit by someone. Duke the other dog seems to keep her
motivated. Both dogs are very co-dependent on each other. If we take
just one of them on a walk alone – the other one just moans until we
return. That is why we would like to keep them together if possible.

Duke (male) is 5 years old. He is very playful and doesn’t like to be
without Maggie. He loves to play ball.

Both dogs are fixed and are current with all of their vaccinations.
*******

Maggie and Duke have been placed together on a ranch in Eastern New Mexico. They are really happy!!!! and so is their family.
