This is Cody when he first arrived. He was pretty miserable and scruffy.

Dodge is a happy boy!

Dodge is a happy boy!

Dodge and Cody are the first two campers in the Fat Dog Club. They are both big boys. Dodge came in at 98 pounds, Cody and 116. When I took Cody to the vet, all they did was talk about his weight. I said, *Hold on this is a great boy. He is loving, funny, athletic, obedient and responsive. Why are you just looking at his size?* It just happens that I am teaching a class on attitudes towards the *large*

I decided that I am going to run a Fat Dog Camp for these two. We shall see. We will do some clicker training, some weight lifting, some walking, and some leaping and bounding around together. They love dogs, they love people, they love life, and they love to eat, lol. They get to do all that except the uncontained eating part.

These two are NOT up for adoption yet. They are going to be at camp for a while. I want to do a little pilot study on rehabilitation of the fat dog issue. If you would like to be part of the work out plan and take someone walking, let me know. Or if you would like to work on clicker training with green beans, that would be good too.

I will keep you up to date on their progress.

Shelby is an Anatolian Shepherd cross. One of our volunteers found her and asked me if we might find her a home.

Shelby is very athletic and can go running with you. She is funny and playful although a little bit aloof at first. She is VERY loyal and stands by the people she loves. She loves to go walking and hiking. And she is a guardian dog.

She is about 5, has had shots, is spayed and is set to go. Email me if you would like to learn more about her.

Henry is a little over a year. He was found as a stray and no one claimed him. He is very sweet, have a loving temperament. We think someone must have worked with him as a show dog since he has the *prance*. We have had him neutered and chipped and given him all this shots. He just needs a little fattening up.

He loves to play ball, to leap around and be a teenager. He loves people and other dogs. He is a good boy.
