Adopted

Sammi is a year golden/great pyrannes mix. She was found as a stray in the south valley. The shelter asked if we would take the dog and find her a home. It turned out she was pregnant. She had 6 puppies. See below for the puppies. The puppies are weaned and Sami is ready for a regular home. She is affectionate and loyal.

She had had her shots and is chipped. She has been to the vet and cleared to go. We will spay her in just a bit after her hormones have settled.

She does have a prey drive so she will be better without cats or little dogs.

Email me if you like to learn more.

Ollie has been adopted

Ollie is a 6 month old pure bred blond Golden Retriever. She came from a young couple who thought it would be a good idea to have a puppy grow up with their crawling toddler. They realized that that was not the best move and asked me if I could find her a new home.

She is a funny combination of being shy and very affectionate. She likes to observe before making choices.

I will try to get her picture up shortly, Let me know if you would like to meet her, but make sure to have that application on file 🙂

ADOPTED

Daisy is an 18 month old female. We call her “red dog” because she came in when we got all those white puppies. She looks like the original line of little Golden Retriever red dogs who would bring ducks back from icy water all day. She is spayed and has had all her shots. She is very, very affectionate and has a lot of energy.

If you want a running companion, she is your girl. She is housebroken and loves being outside running around.

She likes other larger dogs. She thinks that cats and small dogs are like rabbits in the desert – meant to be chased.

Let me know if you would like to meet her. Please make sure you have filled out an application before you get in touch with me.

Foxy is a 2 year old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd cross. She is an absolutely sweet dog. Loving, affectionate, cooperative. She is crate trained, loves going on a leash, does well in the car.

She acts more like a shepherd than a golden. She keeps trying to move my dog into the pen.

She is well balanced, funny and a super nice dog.You can see her affection for another dog.

She is spayed, had all her shots and ready to go. She likes other dogs and loves people. Her owners gave her up because they were transferred to NYC and couldn’t take their dogs.

Noel

ADOPTED

I have a new dog who is a 7 year old spayed female. She is considered an “English Cream” which means she is a white dog. I think she may have some great Pyrenees because she has a very thick double coat and her feet are bigger than regular Golden coat.

She was given up by her owner because their other dogs were beating her up. She came to me with her ear being torn from the show down. Our vet did a little clean up, put some staples in her ear so she is still in a cone.

She likes my other dogs and has settled into a nice routine. She is affectionate and loves to ride in the car. She likes to walk on a leash She loves being groomed (she is hairy so we do that outside). She doesn’t bark or jump although she does like being on the couch LOL.

email me at kathleen@radiantrecovery.com if you would like to learn more or meet her.

Finn

ADOPTED

Finn is a 10 month old red Golden Retriever mix. That is him in the bottom crate. I am using this picture because it captures how sweet he is.

He is chipped, neutered, has had his shots and given a clearance for health. He is high energy and a very funny teenager. I think the “mix” includes a border collie because he is definitely into herding. He is a teenager which means he has a LOT of energy and likes to run.

He likes other dogs and is very affectinate. He is VERY trainable and likes to learn things but still jumps and get mouthy when he first meets people. This is a dog who will be a ten with some training. Right now he is a sweet, high energy teenager who if he if left to his own devices finds naughty things to do. He is crate trained and really likes the crate.

Email me if you would like to meet him. radiantkd@mindspring.com. If you are interested in him, make sure you have filled out an application.
